We’re seeking a Lead Product Manager to play a pivotal role in embedding a data-driven approach to product development within a well-established SaaS organisation.

A fast-growing AI startup is looking for a Lead Product Manager to become the operational force multiplier behind its autonomous AI marketing product for online retailers. As the first dedicated product hire, you will own the product function end-to-end, shaping the roadmap, building the execution engine, and crafting the narrative that underpins the company’s upcoming Series A. This role offers a rare opportunity to grow into a future CPO position as the organisation moves from early-stage to scale-up.

You will be responsible for:

Vision, Strategy & Roadmap

• Partner with the founders to translate the company vision into a data-driven 3–6 month roadmap using objective prioritisation frameworks.

• Own core product conversion funnels and user metrics, ensuring the product is ready for Series A due diligence.

• Build the post-Series-A roadmap and establish scalable planning rituals, prioritisation systems, and metrics. 

Engineering & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Engineering Leadership to balance delivery velocity with technical debt, translating business needs into clear technical context.

• Act as the central orchestrator across Engineering, Marketing, and Design, aligning shipping schedules with growth initiatives and product launches. 

Operational Execution

• Protect the roadmap and sprint commitments by implementing a rigorous intake and prioritisation process.

• Own the product workspace (e.g., Linear) end-to-end — backlog, sprints, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and execution cadence.

• Maintain a predictable, high-velocity shipping rhythm across teams. 

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring

• A strategic operator mindset, equally strong in investor-ready product strategy and hands-on execution.

• 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in a Series-A-to-scale-up environment.

• Tech-adjacent capability: you don’t write code, but you understand engineering conversations and can translate them into product context.

• A hands-on, structured operator who can turn chaos into scalable processes without relying on layers of project managers.

• Excellent communication and mediation skills, aligning founders, Engineering, Marketing, and Design.

• Comfort making fast decisions under time pressure, even without perfect information.

• Genuine interest in communication technology and AI-driven marketing.
