Our client, an international and diverse business headquartered in Hamburg, are looking for a backend engineer to join their team. The business provides their customers with a global business-data platform.

You will design and optimise high-scale event processing pipelines that power their platform’s tracking, analytics, and data products, ensuring real-time insights and accurate usage-based pricing. Your work will be central to enabling seamless data integration for stakeholders and customers.

Your skills and experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer, preferably in data-intensive applications.

• Strong expertise in event processing, web tracking, and real-time data pipelines.

• Proficiency in AWS services

• Experience with stream processing frameworks (Kafka Streams, Flink, Kinesis Data Analytics) and data validation techniques.
