Our client is a digital infrastructure provider, who leverages data science and AI to automate workflows and combat labour shortages, offering their wholesaler clients a competitive edge. They are looking for a Data Engineer to join their team.

As a member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in developing their data warehouse and the infrastructure for their suite of data products. Their clients data is central to everything they do and as such this role will involve close collaboration with thier data science, product, design and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver who is not afraid to get hands-on and take the initiative in implementing new ways in which they can ingest data from different source systems, transform this data into thier unified schema and to deploy a system of cutting edge Machine Learning models.

Your profile:

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering; high-growth tech company experience is a plus

• You have fluency in Python and SQL

• You have experience building ETLs/ELTs, ideally in PySpark and Airflow

• You have experience with monolithic and service-oriented architectures

• Hands-on experience with data engineering tools and platforms; practical experience in Databricks is highly valued.
