Enhance public healthcare with AI Agents!

Our client, a rapidly growing healthtech company based in Berlin, are expanding their engineering team as they scale their AI-driven platform across the healthcare sector. The business currently has around 10 employees and plans to double in size this year, supported by strong investor backing and a growing customer base.

Their product helps healthcare providers manage patient communication more efficiently through intelligent automation, addressing a critical shortage of medical staff. The solution is already live in production across a large number of medical practices and is seeing strong adoption.

They are now hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to take ownership of high-impact customer deployments and ensure the platform performs reliably in real-world clinical environments.

The role:

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role sitting between engineering, product, and customers. You will be responsible for the technical success of a defined group of customers, from initial rollout through to stable day-to-day operation.

The role is Berlin-based, with a hybrid setup (4 days per week on-site) and requires fluent German.

You will:

• Own the technical onboarding and rollout of new customers into production

• Configure and adapt the platform to fit different operational setups and workflows

• Deliver customer-specific technical solutions where required, feeding repeatable learnings back into the core product

• Act as the main technical contact for customers when issues arise

• Identify recurring friction points in onboarding or operations and build tooling or automation to address them

• Contribute internal tools and scripts to help scale customer deployments more efficiently

• Support commercial and customer-facing teams with technical insights and analysis

• Assist with diagnosing production issues and translating fixes into long-term improvements

Your experience:

• Strong hands-on programming experience with TypeScript and/or Python

• Proven ability to take ownership of systems or software end-to-end

• Comfortable working directly with customers on technical topics

• Fluent German (spoken and written)

• Willingness to work on-site in Berlin in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment

• Experience working in startups or scale-ups is a bonus
