One of the fastest growing casual dating applications from Europe are expanding their Trust and Safety team as we ramp up efforts to keep our users safe. Hiring fully remote across Europe, we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to take full ownership of the moderation service, working on one of our core components of the wider platform, internal tooling.

With around 80 people across the company and nearly 50% working in tech, product and design you will have the chance to share knowledge, grow your career whilst keeping our users safe.

We would be hiring you on a B2B 12 month rolling contract, full-time. Therefore, this role will offer a base salary + 10% bonus based on company and individual performance.

The role:

You will be the first engineer in our Trust and Safety team, helping to shape processes and standards across the team. Although the first here, you will have the chance to work closely with two other backend teams that focus on other components of our product, sharing knowledge and developing skills.

As the first hire into this team, we need someone with a clear understanding of internal tooling projects, strong communication skills and an individual willing to take ownership, end-to-end.

Your Experience:

• At least 5 years development experience with a core expertise in Python and Django.

• Exposure to developing microservice architecture.

• Strong experience with testing tools and frameworks.

• Previously worked with PostgreSQL.

• You can work fully remote on a B2B contract.
