“Build critical data pipelines powering healthcare AI at scale”

Our client, a fast-growing Berlin healthtech startup, is transforming healthcare operations with an AI-powered platform used by hundreds of medical practices. They are hiring a Senior Data Integration Engineer to design, build, and own systems connecting their platform to thousands of external practice management systems (PMS).

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with full ownership of integration architecture, implementation, and reliability across heterogeneous and often undocumented systems.

What you’ll do:

• Design and implement read/write integrations for third-party PMS systems

• Work across APIs, databases, and UI-based automation, including reverse-engineering schemas

• Build and operate UI automation pipelines using RPA tooling where APIs are unreliable

• Ensure data flows reliably and safely at scale across thousands of practice systems

• Own decisions on error handling, retries, observability, and integration reliability

What you bring:

• Strong programming experience in TypeScript and/or Rust

• Proven track record building and maintaining complex data integrations

• Solid understanding of distributed systems, data modeling, and integration patterns

• Hands-on experience with databases and RPA/UI automation

• Fluent German (spoken and written)

• Startup or scale-up experience and comfortable in fast-moving environments

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with healthcare software or practice management systems

• Familiarity with healthcare workflows or standards (e.g., FHIR)
