“Turn complex B2B data into actionable AI insights”

Our client, a Berlin-based AI SaaS company, is transforming the B2B wholesale sector by turning sparse, high-value transactional data into actionable intelligence. They are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to build, deploy, and scale AI models that directly drive revenue decisions for enterprise customers.

This is a hands-on role with full end-to-end ownership, combining machine learning, predictive analytics, and LLM-powered tools to support sales teams across diverse industries.

What you’ll do:

• Build and deploy ML models processing millions of transactions across enterprise clients

• Design recommendation engines for catalogs of hundreds of thousands of products

• Develop predictive models for customer behavior with irregular or sparse patterns

• Create churn prediction, cross-sell, and revenue-optimization systems integrated with ERP platforms

• Own the full lifecycle: problem definition → modeling → production deployment → evaluation

• Build evaluation frameworks linking model performance to business KPIs

• Combine classical ML with LLMs to enhance sales intelligence and automate workflows

What you bring:

• Strong ML fundamentals and experience in production ML systems

• Solid engineering practices: maintainable, tested, and documented code

• Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (PySpark/Spark)

• Experience with recommendation systems, customer analytics, or revenue optimization

• Comfortable solving complex problems like extreme class imbalance, cold-start scenarios, and hierarchical data

• Pragmatic, first-principles thinker with a track record of applying models to real business problems

• Fluent English; German proficiency is a plus

Tech stack (preferred):

• Data processing: Python, PySpark, SQL

• ML/AI: scikit-learn, implicit, Databricks, LLM APIs

• Infrastructure & orchestration: AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions

• Experimentation & monitoring: MLflow, Databricks Workflows
