Join a product-driven engineering team building a large-scale B2B platform used by customers across Europe. You’ll work in a modern, cross-functional environment where engineers, designers, and product teams collaborate closely to deliver high-quality features and continuously evolve a complex technology platform.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll work across both frontend and backend, contributing to user-facing products as well as the services and infrastructure that power them. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of features end-to-end, influence technical architecture, and help drive engineering excellence across the team.

What You’ll Work On

• Build and maintain user-facing features using React.js, TypeScript, modern CSS/HTML, and a mature design system.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.

• Work within a micro-frontend architecture alongside a modern backend and API ecosystem.

• Own features across the full software development lifecycle, from discovery and design through development, testing, deployment, and iteration.

• Design and integrate RESTful APIs across frontend and backend services.

• Contribute to application, component, and system architecture, helping shape technical decisions across the platform.

• Deploy and operate applications in cloud environments using AWS and Kubernetes.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and development tooling using technologies such as Gradle.

• Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering colleagues to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

• Ensure code is clean, maintainable, well-tested, and appropriately documented.

• Drive operational excellence across the codebase, tooling, and development processes.

• Support and mentor other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical and architectural discussions.

What You Bring

• Strong professional experience in Software Engineering, with significant experience across both frontend and backend development.

• Strong Java experience with a good understanding of Spring Boot.

• Strong React.js and TypeScript experience, with solid knowledge of modern CSS/HTML and frontend tooling such as Webpack or similar.

• Experience building and working with microservices, REST APIs, SPAs, and micro-frontend architectures.

• Experience designing high-quality applications and reusable software components.

• Understanding of both frontend and backend architecture, with the ability to contribute to technical direction and architectural decisions.

• Experience working with AWS or similar cloud environments.

• Experience with Kubernetes and containerised application environments.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and modern software development workflows.

• Ability to take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery, working independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.

• Strong communication skills, curiosity, and an end-to-end mindset.

• A focus on writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
