Many companies claim they are the market leaders, but few can truly back it up… this SaaS team within HRTech are not only the #1 in Germany but also 5 other EU countries with plans to expand on the horizon. Now we are centralising several components of the business and are expanding offerings.

As a result, we are seeking a Team Leader for one of our core products, a payroll and billing system built with Delphi.

The role:

This established cross functional team are responsible for handling a system that cannot be switched off, the reliance on the payroll is the backbone of the product offering. As a Team Leader here, you will be responsible for 50% of your time coding with Delphi, providing architecture and feature development as well as 50% of your time focused toward people operations within your team of 8.

The long-term vision of the organisation is to migrate the Delphi system to a new stack, but this is an ongoing project, and this part of the platform is too important to not be managed at this stage.

As this is a leading role we need someone who has done this before, the project we have running is critical to the company’s future, therefore we need experienced leaders to help navigate unforeseen challenges.

This team is mostly remote, requiring just a few days every quarter in office, we have several across German in North and South.

Your experience:

• At least 2 years leading similar sized teams (4-8 developer).

• Experience developing Delphi platforms.

• Awareness of OOP and DDD.

• Strong experience with software design and development in all phases of the software development process.

• Confident in people leadership not just technical leadership.

• Exposure to Azure is a big plus.

• Fluent German speaker (this is mandatory)
