Our client is creating an innovative B2B SaaS solution for the global economy. Working with a 48T industry, wholesale to essentially level AI and Data Science to automate workflows.

Off the back off initial success on their soft launch, they are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team to develop and maintain the backend architecture, features and infrastructure that enables them to build user-facing features on top of their data platform and support write backs to ERP systems. This is an on-site role in their Berlin based office.

Your tasks:

• You’ll work with Kotlin – we are happy for someone to upskill here as long as you come from an OOP background.

• Build user-facing features on the vertical slice architecture.

• Be an advocate for innovative techniques and technologies to improve their backend technology stack.

• Work closely with the product, data science, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

Your profile:

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering.

• You have experience with monolithic and service-oriented architectures.

• Exposure to end-to-end development including deploying within AWS.

• Able to build architecture on your own.

• Experience working in similar environments: early-stage start-ups, B2B SaaS or ERP.

• Based in Berlin today.
