A recently invested remote (across Germany) team within the sustainability space are looking to bring on several new talents within their technical organisation. With their new investor comes a new partnership that will help scale their CO₂ reduction software within the real estate market across Germany.
This growing team of around 100 dedicated individuals with a third working in tech are seeking colleagues who are driven by climate as a mission and keen to make their mark on the world.

The role:
You will be leading the 7-person engineering team on one of their core software’s that is directly impacted positively by the new investment round. This Engineering Management role is hands off but requires a good level of technical knowledge to provide architecture support and code reviews. The team today is well balanced with a mix of coaching and leading in terms of strategy. Part of a wider leadership team you will help create links between architecture and products paving the way for your future teams success.
Your Experience:
At least 3 years leading similar size teams ideally in a hands-off capacity.
Strong experience with software design and development in all phases of the software development process.
You are confident in dealing with all aspects of the Engineering Manager role, this involves people leadership, stakeholder communication and technical direction.
You are experienced ideally in all but most of our stack: JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Python and Azure.
You can work fully remote and meet for one week every quarter with the team in Munich or Berlin for on-site.
You speak fluent German orally and written.
